About Lorraine Murphy

I have spent over 20 years working with managers, teams and business leaders across Ireland, helping people build the confidence and practical skills needed to lead others well.

Over that time, I have seen one challenge come up again and again in SME businesses, good people are promoted into management roles without the support or development needed to help them succeed.

Most managers want to do a good job. But managing people is not something most people are naturally taught how to do.

That’s why my work focuses on helping businesses build stronger managers through practical leadership and management development that works in the real world, not just in theory.
I work closely with SMEs across Meath and Leinster, supporting newly promoted and developing managers in areas such as communication, feedback, accountability, team management, confidence and performance.

My approach is practical, supportive and tailored to the reality of each business. Before any development work begins, I take time to understand the business, the team dynamics and the challenges managers are facing day to day. From there, I design targeted programmes that help managers grow in confidence and improve how they lead and communicate with their teams.
